Our team worked under the guidance of HP, Adobe, Intel, and Nvidia to increase brand awareness and usage for the ZBook product through an omni-channel approach to include experiences and other education-focused marketing tools, to demonstrate to our audience the creative power of the ZBook for artists and creators.
Over the span of 10 weeks we worked tirelessly to create two amazing virtual events, I collaborated with my SCAD Pro team composed of 16 students across multiple disciplines, and under the guidance of two incredible SCAD professors, Thomas Hull and Ryan Madson.
Through the initial stages, I assisted the Production team with intensive research and the ideation process, problem-solving HMW (How Might We) questions, working off the research and proposal documents of our previous team. We began to familiarize ourselves with the platform, and sourcing access to the resources and connections we would need for the creation and execution of the events. Our goal is to create two free live events, one taking place March 9th 2021, designed to help give 2D artists and designers an opportunity to strengthen their skills in the Adobe Illustrator creative workflow.
We arranged and conducted meetings and rehearsal sessions with our event host, Orlando Arocena (behance: https://www.behance.net/orlandoarocena ), Orlando Arocena is an esteemed vector artist, Z by HP brand ambassador and Gold Clio Award Winner. Working closely with his specific skillset in mind we designed the event to efficiently showcase Orlando’s skills with a live demo of his drawing in Illustrator, while supporting the audience by navigating the Q&A session to share valuable information with the audience.
Our 3D event taking place March 11th, 2021, was created alongside the brilliant minds and hosts, Sabour Amirazodi, renowned multimedia artist, VFX producer, and Creative Workflow Specialist at NVIDIA and Josh St. John, Head of Creators, Product Planning and Industry Strategy for Z by HP, as we ideate the most effective way to showcase their skills and present the theme of Capture, Create and Experience. They organized the tutorials for how to use Adobe Capture and Adobe Substance and the process of bringing your models into a digital workflow.

In addition to working with the production team, I had the opportunity to work with the marketing team and provided some early ideation and personalized designs of the merch items that would be featured in the box sent out to our first 100 US registrants. My design featured here was chosen for the final printed box packaging! A unique feature of this box was designing an Augmented Reality experience in Adobe Aero, our team built the AR assets and completed a real time animated experience with a virtual receipt of goods included in the box. Here is a design I made for the AR box design, I had animated a gentle motion to the exterior package design.
This was an amazing learning opportunity for me to contribute to the SCADpro team and work alongside our partners at Z by HP, Adobe, Intel Corporation, and NVIDIA to bring to life two amazing virtual events from scratch! I learned many skills working in a highly collaborative setting, decision-making, action and initiative, to create this awesome and unique experience with exemplary quality and unwavering work ethic.
