Objective

The Getaway was my first project working in Autodesk Maya, throughout developing this environmental scene I learned how to navigate and model in the software.

The character in the scene I designed is named PK, a lab experiment, he is a weasel that has been injected with bio-chemicals and has augmentation implants. Now a wandering rogue, traveling in a self-made steam-powered tank built out of junk and scraps that he finds. This scene is of PK on the run after robbing the City Bank and has escaped into the desert cemetery, the sun is rising and he has made it out with his life, dust flies in the air. For this scene, I envisioned a desert with smoke and steam. I wanted to have the silhouette of the grave crosses on the distant horizon and PK in his Tank in the foreground with the details in the environment foreshadowing death for PK.
