City Sound was great opportunity for me to explore this style using black and white contour lines, I experimented with positive and negative space to create an immersive exploration into the heartbeat of urban city life. This project seeks to encapsulate the dynamic essence of a bustling cityscape, where artistry meets the concrete streets. Through meticulous animation and asset design, this piece aims to evoke the vibrant energy leading the viewer into a high-rise apartment. By employing a blend of abstract stylized elements and technical precision.
I also designed the soundscape for this short animation, the first scene starts with a collection of sirens and traffic sound effects to reflect the busy city streets. The transition into the apartment isolates the just the instrumentals of the beat mixer and the guitar riff and fades out as the camera zooms into the TV screen.
