Light comes alive in a remote French quarry. A collaborative project for ANIM 180 Action Analysis at Savannah College of Art and Design Lacoste. October 2018
I used stop motion and light painting to create this spritely inspiration piece spawned in a quarry where the soles of souls departed once tread lightly, or perhaps it was the creepy feeling that this being in the very shadows of the castle of Le Marquis de Sade himself, one never knows what lurks in shadows. I heed the spirits of graffiti artists whose energy remains today in Lacoste, and they come to life to spray and play once again on these ancient crumbling walls, where remnants of their artwork calls to them nightly and to us, to pay tribute in some way, we were compelled; compilation by the very talented Diana Reichenbach. Lacoste, France.
