Objective
This 15 second bumper works to support the heading and tailing content with a brief and subtle logo reveal. The objective for this piece is to use the animation to engage the audience and compliment the brand identity. The content references the humble beginnings Vice had in street culture, the sprawling city represents Viceland’s growing influence into the future.

Style Treatment
The motion is smooth and lingers in the city scenes. The motion design style is done in a graphic black and white linework seen in Viceland’s previous branding presence. The soundscape is a mix of city sounds in the underground subway, the contrast of tropical bird calls are layered in as the camera tilts up towards the powerlines. The sound and illustrations gently fades out as the Viceland logo is revealed.
